Origin Story
Senior Haven Companion was born out of a deep-rooted love and respect for the elderly. Our journey began within a close-knit extended family that instilled in us the values of care and companionship from an early age. Our founder, after migrating to the USA, embarked on a path of caregiving roles across different communities, fueling a passion for social work and service. Specializing in integrated health and gerontology during both undergraduate and graduate studies laid a solid foundation for what Senior Haven Companion is today – a culmination of expertise and passion.
Driven by the desire for flexibility to prioritize cherished moments with family, our founder envisioned a business rooted in meaningful service and personal fulfillment. At Senior Haven Companion, we strive to create a nurturing environment where seniors feel valued, supported, and cherished.

Background in Industry
Our founder is a social worker specializing in gerontology and the concept of aging in place. With over 10 years of experience as a senior aide and a Certified Nursing Assistant, she has provided escort and home care services, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and more. She has worked with diverse populations, including those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and other ailments that alter activities of daily living. She has also served the senior population at organizations like senior centers and clinics, managing over 200 caseloads on a daily basis to provide case management and supportive services.
Our intake process
Yes, we have an intake process. Our social worker will take name and other details including demographics and emergency contact information to have on file in cases of emergency and otherwise for a senior. Your safety is our top priority.
